Chiesa di Santa Maria Maddalena e Borgo di Camuzzago

The ancient village of Camuzzago came back to life, after a long restoration. The environment is divided between buildings of typical Lombard farmhouse with its courtyards and the core monastic with the remains of the cloister and the church of Santa Maria Maddalena, built around 1152 by the Knights of Saint Sepulchre. The structure, in Romanesque style, has within it a remarkable cycle of frescoes by Bernardino Butinone from Treviglio (end sec. XV).
