VILLA MIRABELLINO

Parco di Monza

Villa Mirabellino was built in 1776, wanted by the cardinal Angelo Maria Durini, on a natural terrace and it enhances the beautiful landscape surrounding Villa Mirabello. It was connected with Villa Mirabello through a hornbeam avenue, creating a “visual telescope”, interrupted in 1922 by the construction of a racecourse, and recently restored in order to recover the original setting. Villa Mirabellino has a particular “U” plant and it was built as an outbuilding to host parties and entertainments organized for Durinis’ guests.
