Villino Strazza

Villino Strazza

The house was commissioned by Baldassare Strazza to the Engineer Giuseppe Pirola in 1903. The outside still shows the memory of the eclectic style of the period, especially in the smooth and rusticated veneer of the ground floor and in the first floor in brick.

In the frames of the windows, in the concrete balconies with wrought iron railings of the first floor and in the vegetable range in the upper part of the building are focused the decorative elements. The fence is formed by concrete pillars decorated with floral motifs, which occurs in particular the daisy motifs, and railings in which appear the typical elements of Art Nouveau, also replicated in the railing of the internal staircase.
